Hogg’s Sister Unleashes Furious Tweets – Because She Got What She Asked For (VIDEO)

Lauren Hogg, David Hogg’s younger sister, has been advocating for a safer school environment for weeks. When she returned to school this past Monday, she got exactly what she asked for, and she is not happy about it.

In a series of angry tweets, Hogg vented about having to abide by new security measures at Marjory Stoneman Douglas. That included having armed police standing guard and having to use clear backpacks. Apparently, Lauren Hogg was expecting everyone else to make the sacrifice for her safety, because she was in no mood to being put out.

“Today when I walk into school I will be greeted with armed police, wand detectors and clear backpacks,” she tweeted. “Is this what my high school experience is going to be like? 3 more years of this…Someday when my kids ask me about my high school experience what am I going to tell them?”

Well, at least she won’t have to tell her kids about having to walk to school in the snow.

Hogg also knew exactly who to blame for her predicament. No, not Nicholas Cruz.., her real nemesis, the NRA.

“My new backpack is almost as transparent as the NRA’s agenda,” she tweeted. “I feel sooo safe now. As much as I appreciate the effort we as a country need to focus on the real issue instead of turning our schools into prisons. #clearbackpacks #MarchForOurLives”

You read that right – the young person using the NRA in a “straw man” argument is lecturing us to focus on the real issue.

A lack of self-awareness seems to be a problem with Ms. Hogg. Read this series of tweets she dished out this weekend, and ask yourself if it doesn’t apply perfectly to herself, if she only flipped the argument.

“Sometimes I think people are like sponges, they absorb anything they can get without a filter and believe it to be true. I kind of think it’s sad that people don’t have the capability or willingness to know better to not believe everything they read online or hear.”

“I’ve been wondering about it lately how people could believe such crazy theories but then it hit me, it’s the same reason why when I read a book or watch a tv show I enjoy thinking of conspiracy theories and wondering about what really happened.”

The only difference is that many of the people who believe these theories about us don’t have the ability to disassociate reality from fiction, and that is when things become dangerous.

In all fairness, Lauren Hogg is pretty young, and likely isn’t thinking about holding herself to the lofty standards she expects of others. She also has yet to grasp the concept of irony, it appears.

Hogg recently appeared on TMZ talking about how much more they are doing to save the world, compared to the adults around them.
